Chime Test 9C - Chime Inoperative With Turn Signal On

NOTE: Perform CHIME TEST 9A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector.

Raise and support vehicle. Start engine and move shift selector lever to "D" position. Turn on left turn signal. Increase vehicle speed to more than 20 MPH. Maintain speed for one mile. If chime sounds, system is currently functioning properly. If chime does not sound, replace Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. See Figure .
