Test A, Keyless Entry Module Connectors C1 & C2 Pin Out Test

Make measurements or perform checks as directed from TROUBLE SHOOTING. If a measurement is incorrect, follow instructions given below. If all measurements are correct, replace keyless entry module. See PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE  .

KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE CONNECTOR C1 (BLACK) - DISCONNECTED PIN OUT TEST

Terminal(1) Correct Result
A Battery Voltage Should Exist, If Not, Check Orange/Black Wire.
B Battery Voltage Should Exist, With Ignition Sw. In RUN And LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID RELEASE BUTTON HELD. If Not, Check Black Wire.
C Jumpering To Battery Voltage Unlocks, Driver's Door. If Not, Check Tan Wire. If Okay, Replace Left Front Door Lock Motor.
D Battery Voltage Should Exist, With Either Door Lock Sw. Held In UNLOCK Position. If Not, Check Black Wire.
E Battery Voltage Should Exist, With Either Door Lock Sw. Held In LOCK Position. If Not, Check Light Blue Wire.
F Jumpering To Ground Operates, Illuminated Entry Lights. If Not, Check Gray Wire.
G Battery Voltage Should Exist, With Door Lock Cylinder Switches Released. Ground With Door Lock Cylinder Switches Held In LOCK Position. If Not, Check Light Green Wire.
H Continuity To Ground. If Not, Check Black Wire.

KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE CONNECTOR C2 (BLUE) - DISCONNECTED PIN OUT TEST

Terminal(1) Correct Result
A Battery Voltage Should Exist, If Not, Check Orange Wire.
B Battery Voltage Should Exist, With Ignition Sw. In RUN, BULB TEST Or START. If Not, Check Pink/Black Wire.
C Battery Voltage Should Exist, With Ignition Sw. In RUN, BULB TEST Or START, And GEAR SELECTOR LEVER IN PARK. If Not, Check Transaxle Position Switch And Related Wiring.
D Not Used
E Not Used
F Continuity To Terminal A. Open Circuit To Ground. If Not, Check Purple/White Wire.
G Battery Voltage Should Exist, With All Doors Closed, Ground With Any Door Open. If Not, Check Light Blue Wire. (Theft Deterrent Only.)
H Continuity To Ground. If Not, Check Black/White Wire.
