(All Other Transmitter Functions Normal)

Program a known good transmitter and check hatch release function. If hatch release now operates normally, original transmitter was defective. If hatch release does not operate normally, check for open circuit in keyless entry receiver connector terminal C1 (Black wire). If circuit is okay, replace keyless entry receiver.
