Code P1565, Cruise Servo Position: Notes

Control module applies and monitors 5 volts to cruise control servo position sensor through control module servo position sensor terminal and receives a returned frequency from servo terminal "B" on the same circuit. Depending on actual servo position, AC frequency will vary indicating to control module position of servo blade. Control module uses this information to control servo position when cruise is engaged.

When Code P1565 is set, control module will not allow cruise control operation. P1565 does not illuminate Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL).
