Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Important:  Clean any existing oxidation from the contact face of the battery terminal and battery cable using a wire brush before installing the battery cable to the battery terminal.

  1. Connect the negative battery cable to the battery.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  2. Set the clock and program the radio stations back into the radio as recorded at the beginning of the procedure. Refer to RADIO/AUDIO SYSTEM DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION in Entertainment.
