Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF in Interior Trim.
  2. Open the rear compartment.
  3. Depress the 2 retaining tabs (1) on the underside of the high-mounted stoplamp and slide the lamp assembly toward the front of the vehicle.
  4. Close the rear compartment.
  5. From inside the vehicle, lift the high-mounted stoplamp assembly locating tabs (2) out of the slots on the rear shelf panel.
  6. Rotate the high-mounted stoplamp sockets counterclockwise to release from the high-mounted stoplamp assembly.
