Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Regal and 2003 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the front floor console and reposition the console slightly rearward. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FLOOR (D06) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the console compartment lamp switch.

  3. Open the console compartment door.
  4. Release the retaining tab on the underside of the switch, while sliding the switch rearward.
  5. Lift to remove the switch from the top of the console compartment.
