Installation Procedure

With an assistant, position the hood to the hinges.
Align the hood hinges to the alignment marks on the hood.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the bolts that secure the hinge to the hood.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the hood insulator, if equipped. Refer to Hood Insulator Replacement .
Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
Remove the protective covering from the fenders.
Remove the support and close the hood.
