Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left side instrument panel insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT -- LEFT .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  3. Remove the stop lamp switch (1) from the brake pedal bracket by turning the switch counterclockwise approximately 1/4 turn, and pulling back.
