Installation Procedure

- Install the fuel feed junction block (1) and bolt/nut.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt/nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the fuel feed hoses to fuel feed block (1).
- Reposition the fuel hose clamps.
- Install the fuel feed front pipe (1).
- Install the fuel feed front pipe bracket nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 8 N.m (70 lb in).
- Install the heater pipe and bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 20 N.m (14 lb ft).
- Install the engine wiring harness. Refer to Engine Wiring Harness Assembly Replacement .
- Install the charged air cooler inlet duct to turbocharger.
- Align the mark on the duct (2) with the mark on the turbocharger.
- Position the clamp (1) as shown for proper clearance.
Tighten: Tighten the clamp to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
- Install the charged air cooler outlet duct to the intake.
- Align the mark on the duct (3) with the mark on the turbocharger.
- Position the clamp (1) as shown for proper clearance.
Tighten: Tighten the clamp to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
- Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Auxiliary Battery) in Engine Electrical.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (with HP2) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (without HP2) in Engine Cooling.
NOTE:
Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
IMPORTANT:
Always install new fuel line gaskets when servicing fuel lines.
