Removal Procedure

  1. Remove both front seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT-FRONT BUCKET .
  2. Remove the center console from the vehicle. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT (EXCEPT PRO) or CONSOLE REPLACEMENT (PRO) .
  3. Remove the floor console bezels. Refer to BEZEL REPLACEMENT-FLOOR CONSOLE (NON-LUXURY UPPER) or BEZEL REPLACEMENT-FLOOR CONSOLE (LUXURY UPPER) or BEZEL REPLACEMENT-FLOOR CONSOLE (NON-LUX LOWER) .
  4. Remove the console bin. Refer to CONSOLE STORAGE BIN REPLACEMENT (EXPECT PRO) or CONSOLE STORAGE BIN REPLACEMENT (PRO) .
  5. Remove the console side panels.

  7. Remove the storage bin bracket screws.
  8. Separate the console structure from the console bracket.
  9. Remove the storage bin bracket screws.
  10. Remove the bracket.

  11. Remove the 4 amplifier retaining screws.
  12. Disconnect the amplifier wire connector from the amplifier.
  13. Lift the amplifier from the console bracket.

  14. Remove and discard the four pushnuts (1).
