Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
    2. Fig 1: Negative Battery Cable (L66)

  2. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
  3. Remove the negative battery cable nut from the right frame rail.

  4. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the transmission bracket (3).
  5. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the retainers.
  6. Remove the negative battery cable.
