Installation Procedure

  1. Replace the O-ring if damaged, lubricate the NEW O-ring with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CMP sensor.
  3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector.
  6. Install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (LZ4) .
