Installation Procedure

- Position the radiator behind the condenser.
Important: Care should be taken when installing the condenser not to damage the lower attachment points of both the radiator and condenser.
- Position the condenser, aligning the lower feet to the lower mounting features located at the front of the radiator.
CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .CAUTION: The bolt retaining the condenser to the radiator end tank is a special length and should be the ONLY bolt used upon reinstallation. The use of a longer bolt will damage the radiator end tank.
- Install the condenser mounting bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the condenser mounting bolts to 13 N.m (115 in lbs).
- Install the headlamps. Refer to HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT .
- Install the upper radiator seal.
- Push the lower transaxle oil cooler line into the radiator quick connect fitting, until a "click" is heard.
- Tug gently on the cooler line to ensure proper retention.
- Slide the plastic cap (1) over the quick connect joint.
- Install the upper and lower radiator hoses to the radiator.
- Install the cooling fans. Refer to Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric (LX5) or Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric (L47) .
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
