Installation Procedure

Install the hood latch support (3) to the vehicle.
CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the hood latch support bolts (1) to the hood latch support (3).
Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Install the hood latch support nuts (2) to the hood latch support (3).
Tighten

Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the hood latch. Refer to Hood Latch Replacement .
Install the grille. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT .
