Engine Support Fixture: 3.1L

Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Remove the left engine mount strut and the bracket from the upper radiator support. See ENGINE MOUNT STRUT BRACKET-TO-UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT .
Assemble the Engine Support Fixture Adapters (J-28467-501) (2) to the Universal Engine Support Fixture (J-28467-B) cross bar (1). See Fig 1 .
Install the universal engine support fixture (1) and the engine support fixture adapters (2) to the fender rails. See Fig 1 .
Install the Engine Support Adapter Leg Set (J-36462-A) (1) to the cross bar (2). See Fig 2 .
Install the support lift hook (1) to the cross bar (2). See Fig 3 .

Install the support hook (1) to the right engine lift hook (3). See Fig 3 .
Install the support hook (1) to the engine support adapter leg set (2). See Fig 4 .
Install the support hook (1) to the left engine lift hook (3).
Raise the engine to release the pressure off of the engine mounts. See Fig 5 .

To remove, reverse installation procedure.
