Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (2) to the intake air temperature (IAT)/mass air flow (MAF) sensor (1).

  3. Loosen the clamp securing the air intake duct to the throttle body (5), then loosen the clamp securing the MAF sensor to the air cleaner upper body (2).
  4. Remove the duct together with the IAT/MAF sensor still installed.

  6. Remove 3 retainer screws securing the air cleaner upper body.
  7. Remove air cleaner upper body and air cleaner filter assembly.

  9. Remove the 3 retainer screws (1) securing the air cleaner lower body to the fender inner panel insulators.
  10. Remove the air cleaner air inlet duct (2) from lower body, then remove air cleaner lower body.
