Installation Procedure

  1. Install the left side transmission mount (4).

  2. Refer to FASTENER CAUTION .

    Install the gearbox mount fasteners (2) and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft)  .

  3. Lift the transmission.
  4. Loosely fit the transmission mount fasteners (1) with NEW bolts.
  5. Raise the vehicle.
  6. Attach the front transmission mount to subframe fastener. Refer to TRANSMISSION FRONT MOUNT REPLACEMENT .
  7. Support the transmission using the CH-49290  centering adapter.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Tighten the transmission bracket retainer (1) to 50 Nm 37 lb ft) + 60 degrees + 15 degrees  .
  10. Raise the vehicle.
  11. Remove the centering adapter  CH-49290.
  12. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to ENGINE SHIELD REPLACEMENT .
  13. Fit the rear part of the front wheelhouse front liner. Refer to FRONT WHEELHOUSE FRONT LINER REPLACEMENT .
  14. Lower the vehicle.
  15. Install the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY REPLACEMENT .
