Installation Procedure

  1. Refer to FASTENER CAUTION .

    Install the intake manifold and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft)  .

  2. Install the fuel feed pipe metal. Refer to FUEL FEED PIPE REPLACEMENT (METAL) or FUEL FEED PIPE REPLACEMENT (PLASTIC) .
  3. Install the fuel feed pipe. Refer to FUEL FEED PIPE REPLACEMENT (METAL) or FUEL FEED PIPE REPLACEMENT (PLASTIC) .
  4. Install the intake manifold brace. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD BRACE REPLACEMENT .
  5. Install the charge air cooler outlet air hose. Refer to CHARGE AIR COOLER OUTLET AIR HOSE REPLACEMENT .
  6. Install the oil level indicator and tube. Refer to OIL LEVEL INDICATOR TUBE REPLACEMENT .
  7. Install the turbocharger control solenoid valve. Refer to TURBOCHARGER CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE REPLACEMENT .
  8. Install the manifold absolute pressure sensor. Refer to MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT .
  9. Install the power brake booster vacuum pipe. Refer to POWER BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM PIPE REPLACEMENT .
  10. Install the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID VALVE REPLACEMENT .
  11. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to ENGINE SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT .
