Oil Pump Assembly: Reassembly
Install inner and outer rotor into oil pump housing. Apply ATF to components. Align both oil pump housing pivot pins with pivot holes in oil pump cover, and install cover. Use caution not to apply force to pivots. Tighten oil pump cover bolts to 17-20 ft. lbs. (23-27 N.m). After oil pump assembly, turn oil pump shaft to check for smooth rotation. After reassembling DRIVE PINION SHAFT and installing onto oil pump housing, install 4 NEW oil pump seal rings and oil seal retainer. The 2 innermost seal rings are larger in diameter than the outer 2 seal rings.
