Inhibitor Switch

Disconnect inhibitor switch harness connector. Check resistance between terminals No. 11 (Black/White wire) and No. 12 (Black/Yellow wire) at inhibitor switch. With gearshift lever in Park or Neutral, resistance should be 10 ohms or less. With gearshift lever in any other position, resistance should be greater than 10 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace inhibitor switch. If resistance is as specified, inhibitor switch is okay.
