Converter Case: Installation

  1. Install the converter case.
    1. Temporarily install the bolt (A).

      (A) M10 x 35
    2. Temporarily install the bolts (B) and (C).
      CAUTION: Always use a new bolt.

      (B) M12 x 38
      (C) M10 x 35
    3. Tighten the bolts which hold the converter case.

      Tightening torque: 

      T1: 34 N.m (3.5 kgf-m, 25.1 ft-lb)

      T2: 57 N.m (5.8 kgf-m, 42.0 ft-lb)

  2. Install the torque converter. Ref. to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION>TORQUE CONVERTER>INSTALLATION .
