Check the resistance between connector terminals.

8 - 9	M range, when shifted to "+"
12 - 13	M range, when shifted to "-"
10 - 11	Except for M range	1 MΩ or more
8 - 9	M range, except for when shifted to "+"
12 - 13	M range, except for when shifted to "-"
