Injector (TBI): Removal

  1. Relieve fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner assembly.
  2. Remove air cleaner mounting bracket from throttle body. Remove injector cover and upper insulator. Disconnect fuel injector connector. Remove fuel injector.
