Toe-In Adjustment: Procedure: Front
- Measure toe-in and compare to WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS . If toe-in is not within specification, go to next step.
- Loosen front toe-in adjusting nuts and rotate right and left outer tie rods by the same amount to align toe-in to specification. See Fig 1 and WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS . In this adjustment, right and left tie rods should become equal in length.
- Reconnect the outer tie rods to the knuckle assemblies. Tighten adjusting nuts and outer tie rod nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
