Air Pump

  1. Check air pump for abnormal noise and replace as required. Disconnect hose at air pump outlet. Attach Air Pump Tester (SST 09258-14010), with a .217" (5.51 mm) orifice, to hose. See Figure.
  2. Start engine and increase engine speed to 1200 RPM on Land Cruiser and 1800 RPM on Pickup. Tester gauge should read in Green area. If reading is in Red area, replace air pump assembly.
