Installation (Celica 3S-GE & 3S-GTE)
Set No. 1 cylinder to TDC on compression stroke. Install new "O" ring into housing. Coat "O" ring with oil. Align drilled mark (3S-GE) or cutout mark (3S-GTE) of coupling with groove mark of housing. See Fig 1 and Fig 2. Insert distributor, aligning center of distributor flange with bolt hole on head. Install spark plug wires and set timing. Tighten hold-down bolt. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
