Fuel Injector Solenoid Resistor (Turbo)

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect fuel injector solenoid resistor electrical connector. See FUEL INJECTOR SOLENOID RESISTOR LOCATION table.
  2. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminal +B and other solenoid resistor electrical terminals. See Fig 1. Replace fuel injector solenoid resistor if resistance is not within specification. See FUEL INJECTOR SOLENOID RESISTOR SPECIFICATIONS table.
NOTE: Fuel injector solenoid resistor may also be identified by appropriate illustration in THEORY/OPERATION article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.
