Stoplight Switch
- Disconnect 4-pin stoplight switch connector. See Figure. Depress brake pedal. Check for continuity between stoplight switch connector terminals No. 1 (Green/White wire) and No. 2 (Green/Orange wire). See Fig 1. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace stoplight switch and retest system.
- Release brake pedal. Check for continuity between stoplight switch connector terminals No. 3 (Black/Red wire) and No. 4 (Red/Green wire). See Fig 1. If continuity exists, switch is okay. If continuity does not exist, replace stoplight switch and retest system.
