Switch Continuity Tests

Turn ignition off. Remove seat. See POWER SEAT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect 4-pin electrical harness connector from lumbar support switch. Remove lumbar support switch. Check continuity between specified terminals of lumbar support switch. See Fig 1. See LUMBAR SUPPORT SWITCH CONTINUITY  table. Replace switch if continuity does not exist between specified terminals.

LUMBAR SUPPORT SWITCH CONTINUITY

Switch Position Continuity Between Switch Terminal Nos. (1)
Forward 1 & 4; 2 & 3
Off 1 & 3; 2 & 3
Release 1 & 3; 2 & 4
