DTC P2121: Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "D" Circuit Range/Performance Problem: Notes

CAUTION: If Engine Control Module (ECM) replacement is instructed in following test, always ensure ECM connectors and ground circuits are okay. If either are defective, repair and repeat testing to confirm ECM malfunction.
NOTE: If DTCs related to MAF, IAT, TPS, APS, ECT and/or VPS are output simultaneously, the E2 sensor ground circuit at ECM 31-pin connector E8 terminal No. 11 (Blue/Black wire) may be open. See appropriate wiring diagram under ENGINE PERFORMANCE in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS. For ECM connector terminal identification, see Figure. It may be necessary to check wire between splice I13 and ECM 31-pin connector E8 terminal No. 11 (Blue/Black wire). Splice I13 is located behind passenger's side of instrument panel. See Figure.
