Right Multi-Function Switch: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Wait two minutes for the airbag system reserve capacitor to discharge before beginning any steering column service.
- Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds (Figure)(Refer to SHROUD - LOWER ) and (Refer to SHROUD - UPPER ).
- Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector for the right multi-function switch.
- Remove the two screws that secure the right multi-function switch to the multi-function switch mounting housing (Figure).
- Remove the right multi-function switch from the multi-function switch mounting housing.
