Inspection Procedure

HINT:

In case of using the hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the hand-held tester, start from step 2.

1. Check headlight control switch using hand-held tester. 

   PREPARATION: 

   Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.

   CHECK: 

   Check the headlight control switch using DATA LIST.

   OK:

   1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ). 
   2. NG: Go to next step 
2. Check headlight control switch (See  BODY ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS (DOUBLE CAB) - TROUBLESHOOTING  ). 
   1. NG: Replace headlight control switch. 
   2. OK: Go to next step 
3. Check wire harness and connector between headlight control switch and body ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
   1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness and connector. 
   2. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ).
