Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (B+, B2+, ACC, GND, GND2/E) 
    1. Disconnect the stereo component amplifier assembly S10 and S11 connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      GND - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      GND2 (1), E (2) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      (1) Coupe
      (2) Convertible

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage 

      TERMINALS VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B+/- GND Always 10 to 14 V
      B2+/- GND Always 10 to 14 V
      ACC - GND Ignition SW ACC 10 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   OR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
