2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR





(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring on the crankshaft position sensor.





(b) Install the crankshaft position sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)
NOTE: Do not twist the O-ring.

(c) Install the wire harness and crankshaft position sensor connector clamp.
(d) Connect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
2. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY Installation
3. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT Installation
4. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
