Inspection Procedure

1. Disconnect the B29 connector from the ECM.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage

NG: Go to Next Step 

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the A3 connector from the clutch switch.
3. Remove the clutch switch assembly (See CLUTCH SWITCH ).
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance 

   RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   1 - 2	Switch pin free	10 kΩ or higher
   	Switch pin pushed in	Below 1 Ω

5. Install the clutch switch (See INSTALLATION  ).

NG: REPLACE CLUTCH SWITCH (CRUISE CONTROL CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY)  (See INSTALLATION )

OK: Go to Next Step 

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (ECM - CLUTCH SWITCH) 

OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (BATTERY - CLUTCH SWITCH)
