Inspection Procedure
- CHECK ABS CONTROL SYSTEM
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Check if the same DTC is recorded (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
Result
RESULT CHARTResult Proceed to DTC (ABS control system DTC) is not output A DTC (ABS control system DTC) is output B B: REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )
A: Go to next step
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Start the engine.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of approximately 40 km/h (25 mph) or more for 60 seconds or more.
- Check if the same DTC is recorded (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
