How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

- CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS
- Interview the customer and confirm the trouble (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ).
- CHECK DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA*
- Check and record a DTC and Freeze Frame Data.
- Clear the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data (See for DTC CHECK/CLEAR , or for FREEZE FRAME DATA ).
- Reconfirm the DTCs.
- Reconfirm the DTCs based on the recorded DTCs and Freeze Frame Data (See
for DTC CHECK/CLEAR , or
for FREEZE FRAME DATA ).
HINT:
- When DTCs indicating CAN communication system malfunctions are output, repair the CAN communication system before repairing each corresponding sensor (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ).
- If any of the DTCs U0100/65, U0123/62, U0124/95 and U0126/63 is output together with a CAN communication DTC, first check the appropriate sensor for a momentary open circuit (See CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS ).
