Work sequence

Connect VAS5051 using VAS5051/1 or VAS5051 /3 diagnostic adapter cable as follows:

Connect connector of diagnostic adapter cable onto DLC.
Depending upon desired function: Switch ignition on or Start engine: Functions which can be selected when using the VAG1551 /1552 or VAS5051 scan tools , Table "Selectable functions".

NOTE:

In the functions 04 - Basic setting or 08 - Read measured value (data) block, the display zones will be listed from top to bottom.
