Front Information Display Control Head Control Module, removing and installing: Installing
- Connect all harness connectors to control module.
- Carefully slide Information Display Control Head Control Module - A - with harness connectors connected into center console - B -.
- While doing this, pull wiring set - C - from beneath glove compartment continuously out of center console so that wire connections and fiber-optic cables do not become kinked behind the control module.
- Secure wiring set - C - to socket and cable tie - in magnified area F, positions 2 and 3 - on rib - in magnified area F, position 1 -.
- Route wiring set - C - as a loop - D - behind glove compartment reinforcement.
- Secure wiring set - C - with cable tie - in magnified area E, position 2 - to glove compartment reinforcement - in magnified area E, position 1 -.
The rest of the installation procedure is performed in the reverse order of removal!
When installing, make sure ashtrays are closed before installing trim.
Control module must be coded so that connected components can be correctly identified.
