Accelerator Pedal Module, Replacing




Removing the accelerator pedal module





Remove the stop lug in the connector on the pedal module.
Disconnect the pedal module connector.
Remove the pedal module.

Installing the accelerator pedal module
Install the pedal module. Tighten to 10 Nm.
Connect the pedal module.
Install the stop lug in the connector in the pedal module.

Note! After the replacing the Accelerator Pedal (AP) position sensor, the engine must be run at idleing speed for a couple of minutes before normal operation can resume. This is because the system adapts the new Accelerator Pedal (AP) position sensor to compensate for any differences between the components. If this is not carried out there will be a dead point in the Accelerator Pedal (AP) position sensor.
