Checking the mode selector S/E: Checks: Verification

HINT: After repairs have been completed they must be verified as follows to ensure that the fault has been eliminated:

• Ignition off
• Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
• Ignition on
• Go into scrolling values
• Read off the status for the mode selector Sport / Economy (S/E).

  The value displayed should be E with Economy driving mode selected (button up) and S with Sport driving mode selected (button down). If the value is correct the function is OK.

Are the correct values displayed? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
