Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-0070 is stored if the control module registers that the pump motor operates continuously, does not start or if the signal is missing.

Substitute Value 

• ABS system is blocked.
• Anti-spin function is blocked.

Possible Source 

• Contact resistance in terminals.
• Fuse 4 defective.
• Loose pump motor connector.
• Open-circuit in power supply to pump motor.
• Open-circuit in pump motor ground lead.
• Open-circuit in power supply (30-supply) to control module #25 for pump motor (cars equipped with DSTC #47).
• Defective pump motor.
• Internal fault in control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• ABS warning lamp lit.
• Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
• No ABS function.
• Anti-spin does not function.
