- 01-03-2011 New information regarding version RSE version 2.2 introduced in October 2010.
- 03-03-2010 New information regarding version RSE 2.1 which was introduced December 2009.
- 10-05-2009 RSE 2.0 Programming instructions on page 12-14 have been corrected and restructured.
DESCRIPTION
In an effort to save labor time, reduce inventory carrying costs and improve client service, VCNA has developed a method and sourced the parts to service Retailer and Port installed RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment) DVD/LCD Electronics Modules only instead of the entire head restraint assembly. If diagnosis indicates that failure is caused by the RSE DVD/LCD Electronics Module, replace the DVD/LCD Electronics Module only. It is no longer necessary to remove the head restraint and disturb the wiring that is installed in the seat upholstery. All work can be performed with the head restraint installed in the seat back.
