Power Module: Notes
Power module controls operation of blower motor. It is located on top of evaporator assembly. See Fig 1. Power module receives compressor and blower drive signal from programmer and amplifies signal to a strong output voltage proportional to input. Power module is also transistorized, and can provide variable blower speeds. Power module is attached to a large heat sink which protrudes into the evaporator air stream as a means of dissipating the heat which the power module generates.
