Bus Shorted To Battery/Ground

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. For this DTC to be current, scan tool will not be able to communicate with any modules except PCM. If this DTC is set and current, perform PCI BUS COMMUNICATION FAILURE  . If this DTC is not current and scan tool is capable of communicating with modules other than PCM, go to next step.
  2. Problem is intermittent at this time. Visually inspect related wiring harnesses for any chafed, pierced, pinched or partially broken wires. Inspect harness connectors for broken, bent, pushed out or corroded terminals. With engine running at normal operating temperature, wiggle related wiring harnesses to try and duplicate failure. Repair as necessary.
