Voice Control Switch Test

NOTE: The HFL-navigation voice control switch and the HFL switch are the same parts.

Remove the HFL-navigation voice control switch (see VOICE CONTROL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).

Measure the resistance between terminals No. 2 and No. 4 in each switch position according to the table.

VOICE CONTROL SWITCH

Position	Resistance
No buttons pressed	About 10 kΩ
Navigation Talk button pressed	About 2.2 kΩ
Navigation Back button pressed	About 650 Ω

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the HFL-navigation voice control switch (see STEERING WHEEL DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY ).
