With Nissan CONSULT Scan Tool

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect Nissan CONSULT to Data Link Connector (DLC). See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Turn ignition on. Touch START, IVMS, then REMOTE CONT ID REG. Touch START. Original ID code(s) are erased and power door locks will lock, unlock and hazard warning lights will flash twice.
  2. Push any lock button on new remote controller once. ID code for new remote controller has now been entered. Power door locks will lock, unlock and hazard warning lights will flash twice to confirm.
  3. Repeat step 2) to enter additional remote controller ID code(s). A maximum of 4 remote controller ID codes can be entered. If same ID code is entered more than once, the entry is ignored.
