DISPLAY UNIT : Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK FUSES
Check that the following display unit fuses are not blown.
FUSE REFERENCEUnit Terminals Signal name Fuse No. Display Unit 2 Battery power 31 3 Ignition switch ACC or ON 4 Are the fuses OK?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch to ACC
- Check voltage between display unit harness connector M168 and ground.VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

Does specified voltage exist?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO:
- Check connector housings for disconnected or loose terminals.
- Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect display unit connector.
- Check continuity between display unit harness connector M168 and ground.CONTINUITY CHART

Does continuity exist?
YES: Inspection End.
NO: Repair harness or connector.
