Checking Fluid Levels
Raise and support the vehicle. Ensure vehicle is level. Remove filler plug from transmission. Fluid should be level with bottom edge of filler plug hole. See Fig 1. If fluid is low, fill with appropriate fluid until fluid is level with filler plug opening. See RECOMMENDED FLUIDS . Reinstall filler plug. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
